Coastal Light

Maine, 2024

A study of the Atlantic coast at dawn — the way low winter light catches granite, salt spray, and the weathered faces of working harbors.

The City Unfolds

Tokyo, 2023

Street photography from the narrow alleys of Shimokitazawa to the neon corridors of Shinjuku. Quiet moments in a city that never stops moving.

Portraits in Place

Various, 2022–2024

Environmental portraits of artists, farmers, and craftspeople in their own spaces. Each frame tries to hold still what a life looks like.

The Desert Speaks

Sonoran, 2023

Large-format work from the Sonoran Desert — saguaro silhouettes at dusk, dry riverbeds, the strange geometry of creosote against red earth.

About

[ photo ]

I’m a photographer based in [your city], working across documentary, editorial, and environmental portraiture. My approach is slow and observational — I prefer to wait for the light, the gesture, the frame that feels inevitable rather than arranged.

Over the past several years I’ve worked with magazines, nonprofits, and private clients across the US and Japan. I shoot primarily on medium-format film, though I’m not precious about the tool — what matters is what the photograph holds.

I’m available for assignments, commissions, and collaborations. If you have a project in mind, I’d love to hear about it.
